We’ve Been Busy, this Jan 2012!

Its been a good start to Y2012 for OneDesign and MNC.One team. Quite a few projects with some very reputed clients kept us busy this first month of the year, which explains the lack of updates in our site for a long time.

To start with, we booked a Design Management contract with Emaar-MGF to manage a 400,000 sqft commercial complex in Gurgaon. Scope includes all Pre-Construction Management activities up to award of construction contracts and subsequently, to ensure design compliance at site. This was followed by a corporate interior project for Gujarat Fluorochemicals (known for their INOX Leisure brand of multiplexes all around the country). Soon to follow was a comprehensive design contract with Homestead for a 77 acre township design in Haryana, including masterplanning, infrastructure, villas, housing floors, commercial complex, nursing home, primary school, the works! And just to top it off, on the last day of the month, we bagged a prestigious redevelopment project for the Laketown city market in Kolkata in a PPP project with Municipal Authorities and Green Concretex.

Over and above, we are now forced to move to a larger office in Feb 2012. That isn’t an easy project either, as anyone who has done their own office or home would swear! Thats scheduled for mid Feb.

Shopping and Office Complex at Amritsar

One Design has been recently commissioned for masterplanning of a Shopping-cum-Office (SCO) Complex in Amritsar, Punjab, along with the design of a KFC drive-through outlet within the complex. The complex consists of approximately 60 individual shopping and office plots, varying between 60 to 150 square yard each.

The scope of OneDesign includes Urban Design, Civil works, Electical and Public Health infrastructure, along with hard and soft Landscape and Structural design of the double level KFC outlet. We will keep our site updated as the design progresses.

Eco-Resort in Kolkata Wetland Zone

Pleased to announce that OneDesign has been appointed for masterplanning of a 26 acre Eco-Resort project in the wetland zone to the East of Kolkata.

The East Kolkata Wetland (EKW) ecosystem consists of an overall area of 12,500 hectares and nurtures the world’s largest wastewater fed aqua culture system. The goods and services provided by this wetland include, in addition to fisheries, a very cheap, efficient and eco-friendly system of solid waste and sewer treatment system for the city of Kolkata, habitat for waterfowl and home for a large flora and fauna. This zone has been declared a protected natural conservation site by the Ramsar Convention and any construction or development activity in this zone requires extreme sensitivity on the part of the designer as well as adherence to strict international green guidelines.

OneDesign is proud to be associated with such a prestigious and sensitive project and we will keep our site updated with future developments on this project.

Residential Project at Cuttack

Pleased to announce that MNC-One Design Solutions has been awarded a 9 lakh sqft premium residential project in Cuttack. The site overlooks river Kathajodi with a frontage of about 800 feet and the development is expected to be one of the landmarks in the city. The scope includes architecture, structure, electrical, plumbing and public health, environmental and ventilation engineering along with landscape design.

OneDesign will undertake entire design development for the project from its Delhi office. We will post updates of the progress as it happens.
